Steve Jobs death used by Google as an excuse for lawsuit with Apple

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus a.k.a Nexus Prime was originally expected to launch back on October 11 with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Unfortunately this didn't happen and both Samsung and Google announced that the delay was in tribute to Steve Jobs unfortunate death.

Eldar Murtazin hints Nexus Prime delay may not be due to Steve Jobs death but ongoing Apple lawsuits
Russian blogger Steve Murtazin of MobileReview (MR), dubbed the "James Bond of smartphones" by Engadget and  described by BGR as a "plugged-in Russian blogger [who] has a solid track record with inside information," has a different take on the whole thing. ComputerWorld and their story, "Nexus Prime smartphone, Android 4.0 delayed over patent dispute?" reports on it:

"A Russian blogger has asserted that the Samsung Nexus Prime smartphone and Android 4.0, also known as Ice Cream Sandwich, are "under question" over patent disputes with no timeline for an outcome… The comment, posted on Twitter by blogger Eldar Murtazin early Tuesday, reads: "Nexus Prime and Android 4.0 are under question. Google removing some features which are subject of patent war. No timeline for this job."

However nor Google or Samsung have reacted to Eldar Murtazin's tweet, and are still expected to release the handset on the 18th or 19th of October. Should we expect more delays? how will this effect the handsets performance.
